Claims

What to do if you have a claim: 
  1. Gather all pertinent information:

    • Date/Time claim occurred

    • Location

    • Names and contact information of those involved

    • If auto accident, don't admit fault

    • Names of witnesses

  2. Report the claim to your agent

  3. If agent is unavailable, report to insurance company using 800 number or website

  4. Adjuster should contact you within 24-48 hours

  5. Adjuster will lead you through the claim process

  6. Cooperate as there will be appraisal and interviews

  7. Discuss with agent if there are concerns or issues
